The 1974 Shasta travel trailer

We brought home this somewhat retro Shasta a few weeks ago. We planned to start working on her as soon as we got some outdoor spring projects completed. As you can see the inside is in good shape but the outside needs sealed and painted. The inside needs some ceiling repair and since this paneling is not real wood, I would love to paint it.

  1. Could you post some photos of how your sofa/gaucho bed works? I have a 65 Frolic that is missing the gaucho and I need to rebuild it. Thanks, Tina

    1. Tina, I'll try to get out there and get some close up pics. Luckily our Frolic still had the brackets on each side attached to the wall that it sits in when lowered. So we just had to order some long piano hinges, wood, and found a round cylinder-like pipe we cut in half that went on the wood and sits in the brackets.
